On 3rd April 2025, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology, Tanakpur, Champawat organized a powerful Anti-Drug Awareness Rally to spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The rally was part of the institute’s ongoing efforts to encourage students and the community to commit to a drug-free lifestyle.
Students, faculty, and staff members actively participated in the rally, marching through the streets of Tanakpur with banners, placards, and slogans urging people to “Say No to Drugs.” The messages carried by participants highlighted the physical, emotional, and social consequences of drug addiction and called for collective action to combat this issue.
