A two-day workshop titled “An Insight in Capital Market and Financial Education” was successfully organized at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology, Tanakpur from 18 to 19 November 2025. The workshop was conducted by SEBI SMART Trainer Mr. Rishi Kumar Garg.
During the workshop, students, faculty members, and staff received practical and detailed information on the following topics:

The workshop was conducted from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM on both days. Along with the main sessions for students, a special one-hour session for faculty and staff was also held each day, focusing on safe investment practices, financial discipline, and essential market knowledge. Interactive activities, presentations, and real-life examples helped improve participants’ financial awareness and confidence.
The entire program was well-coordinated by the Training & Placement Team, including Dr. Anjali Singh and Mrs. Sneh Lata Singh, who managed the event planning, schedule, and participation.
At the closing ceremony, the Director of the institute, Prof. Hardwari Lal Mandoriya, honored the SMART Trainer Mr. Rishi Kumar Garg with a memento and thanked him for his valuable contribution. He stated that the workshop proved very useful for students, faculty, and staff, and such initiatives will help promote financial literacy and better decision-making in the future.
The event was attended by Deputy Registrar Dr. Abhishek Pathak, Associate Dean Mr. Lovjeet Singh, all faculty members, staff, and students.
